How to report a concern
Reporting helps us catch scams, harassment, and policy violations.
Here is the fastest way to get a report to the right place.

-
Use in-app report tools first: For listings,
messages, or other content that has a “Report” action, use it while
you are viewing the item. That routes your report with the right
context and identifiers for our team to review.
-
What to include: A short description of what
happened, approximate times, and the other person’s @handle or listing
link if you have it. You do not need a long write-up; clear facts help
most.
-
When to email help@: If you can’t use the in-app
report flow, if you are locked out, or if you are worried about
immediate harm, email
help@abuzzlist.com. We can’t
act on public comments or social DMs; use a channel you control, like
the email on your abuzzlist account, when possible.
-
Illegal activity or danger: In an emergency, contact
local emergency services. We take reports of threats and child safety
seriously, but you should not wait for a platform response when
personal safety is at risk.
-
What happens next: We review reports against our
policies. Outcomes can include no action, warnings, content removal,
feature limits, or account restrictions depending on severity and
history. We cannot share other users’ private outcomes, but you may
receive a confirmation for some reports.
-
Read the policy layer: For how rules are enforced in
general, see
Reporting & enforcement
in Rules & policies.
